Dogs, cats, birds, bunnies and fishes are some of the usual domestic pets that we can find around the house. Most of us treat them as our best friend or even as part of the family. Keeping pets is really an exciting and a heart warming experience.
The world is full of different kinds of wonderful living things and the good thing about it is that there are many species that we can treat them as pets - unusual animals, insects and plants. Taking care of these kind of animals or what we called "exotic pets" are very much different than our usual pets at home. It needs a lot of research and understanding the type of exotic animals that you want. It can be a snake, ferrets, eagles, raccoons, tarantulas, spiders, sugar gliders, venus fly trapped or any kind of animals that are different from our dogs and cats.
I have been keeping and raising exotic pets for almost 3 years now and I am willing to share all of my experiences and methods in taking good care of them. 3 years is not yet enough to master all the techniques and strategies in keeping and raising these pets, but with the help of some enthusiast and hobbyist I was able to live with them and treat them as one of my family. Thee purpose of this blog is to provide a lot of information for beginners who like to have an unusual pet. I will be posting some care sheets and pictures of my exotic pets on this blog. Please keep on visiting and hopefully you will find it interesting and helpful.
